"Grateful for Their Quick Help in a Time of Crisis. When our Jack Russell Terrier had a sudden and severe allergic reaction vomiting, full-body hives, and alarming facial swelling and we were in a complete panic. Our regular vet was closed, and we began calling around desperately to find help. Out of all the animal hospitals we contacted, Salt Pond Animal Hospital was the only one that picked up the phone. Even though they were closed at the time, they took the time to listen to our situation with care and urgency. They immediately recommended a new urgent care facility in Narragansett that was open and accepting walk-ins, which turned out to be exactly what we needed. Their willingness to answer the call and point us in the right direction made all the difference. Without their help, we might have lost even more precious time trying to find somewhere open. Thanks to their guidance, our dog received the immediate treatment he needed and is now back to feeling like himself. We are incredibly grateful to Salt Pond Animal Hospital for being there for us when we needed someone most. They weren't just helpful but they were a lifeline."
